Attack Triangle

THE ROAD THAT'S ALWAYS OPEN

This week's video is all about attacking the opposition's triangle.  The triangle is the space between a player's skates and stick.  Attacking this space with the puck in 1v1 situations AND passing situations can be a highly effective offensive play.  It is very challenging for a player to quickly close off that area...making it a spot that offensive players can exploit through puck handling maneuvers or passes to a teammate.

The tough part for most players is the ability to recognize that there is still a lane available even when it looks like there is nothing open.  Then, of course, possessing the skill level to place the puck through that window with proper pace and timing.

Take the road that's always open...Develop your vision, puck handling, and passing skills to attack the triangle and generate 1v1 and passing success!
